A: No. Natural knots are a characteristic of pure linen and help verify its authenticity. They are not defects, but part of the fabric’s natural texture and organic character.
Q: How should linen items be washed?
A: Hand wash or use a gentle machine cycle with mild detergent. Avoid bleach or strong alkaline cleaners. Water temperature should not exceed 30°C to prevent shrinking or fading.
Q: How should linen be dried?
A: Air dry flat or hang on a smooth hanger to dry naturally. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, as it may cause fading and make the fabric stiff.
Q: How should linen be ironed?
A: Iron while slightly damp using a low to medium heat setting, preferably with a pressing cloth. A steamer can also be used. Light natural wrinkles can be kept for a more authentic linen look.
